Alright here is where I get prickly. When folks refer to Palin as the "most popular governor."
If you know anything about Alaska, you know that Alaskans hated Frank Murkowski (who preceded Palin). You also know that Alaskans aren't too fond of Democrats.
So it is like there was no other option. I'm not saying she isn't doing a good job, I don't know if she is or isn't. But come on! Anyone who runs practically unopposed is going to look "popular."
